Looks like Gunner is back! I'm taking my Blood Boilers in this time to give them some experience. They qualified for elite out of their Division II season, so they're a little green.

THEY'RE ORCS!! OF COURSE THEY'RE A LITTLE GREEN!!

Thanks bud.

Looking forward to my first venture into the ranks of the Elite. I've done quite well working my way up to this point, and I expect the competition here will be..... well...... on the Elite level!!!

We'll see if my tired old orcs have enough left in them for campionship run at the top of the mountain

I'll pitch out my wild-assed guess on the outcome of this league based on no facts whatsoever:

At the end of the regular season, it will be:
Gunner
Daemian
Michael
Tuneloon
Brett
Andrew
Paul
id

Tuneloon and I will be pretty close in the standings. id will not win many games. Gunner, Daemian and Michael won't exactly be dominant, but there will be some separation between them and Tuneloon/Brett.

I don't know about that...I'm looking at these Orcs that the teams have, those in the homelands and the Win Ratio and WHOA! WTF?

I'm kinda scared ;)

Yeah, I'll be curious how well I fare against the elite, as my team jumped from Division II to Elite (They have 3 titles and 1 second). I was able to pick up some quality players at each position in the first day of bids and now have a full roster and no loan to pay off.

The team is starting to show its first real signs of aging, as I have 9 orcs with canes, although only 2 of them are at -3. My first three games are against the teams that ICE has pegged for the bottom of the division, so I should know pretty quickly if my team has a chance to live up to the lofty expectations that he has put on me!! I will then face the top 3 before facing ICE in game 7.

Looking forward to the challenge.

I was kindof surprised at the first auction. I got all the ones I bid on for the asking price. That helped, since I was short on centers at the start of the season.

Game one results are in, and hopefully all overlords are awake now! The standings are:

Michael's Spikedrivers 1-0-0 +59
Tuneloon's Enforce-orcs 1-0-0 +44
Gunner's Mudboggers 1-0-0 +39
Paul's Losers 1-0-0 +15
Brett's Blood Boilers 0-1-0 +23 (lost to Gunner)
id's idiots 0-1-0 +12 (lost to Paul)
Andrew's Engravers 0-1-0 +9 (lost to Tuneloon)
Daemian's Assassins 0-1-0 +7 (lost to Michael)

There were 15 knockouts on the day, four of which were on my team. There are currently 14 orcs in regeneration, at least two of which died while looting.

Most points scored in a game: Michael vs Daemian, 66 points scored. Michael has been in Elite for several seasons already, and this is Daemian's "first" appearance. That's slightly deceptive, since Elite didn't exist last time Daemian played!

I'm guessing the Assassins were angry? Wow! A 46-18 smackdown on my poor Blood Boilers, leaving one dead and one critically wounded! Losing to Michael's Spikedrivers is no reason to be angry. He beat Gunner today, too. This might be his season! Congratulations also to Tuneloon for beating id and Andrew to tie for first (so far).

Michael's Spikedrivers 2-0-0 104 - 15
Tuneloon's Enforce-orcs 2-0-0 95 - 14
Daemian's Assassins 1-1-0 53 - 77
Gunner's Mudboggers 1-1-0 47 - 68
Andrew's Engravers 1-1-0 36 - 64
Paul's Losers 1-1-0 35 - 39
Brett's Blood Boilers 0-2-0 41 - 85
id's idiots 0-2-0 17 - 66

Yeah, we'll see what my team is made of once I face the other side of the division. As for now, I'll take my two wins.

Pounded into the dirt... AGAIN. The Blood Boilers lost their third game in a row today, this time to the #1 team Michael's Spikedrivers, by a score of 42 to 15. Seven dead. Tolerance increased AGAIN. This is going to be a looooooooooong season for me.

Overlord's Team IQ Win-Loss-Tie Points For - Against
Michael's Spikedrivers 14 3-0-0 146 - 30
Tuneloon's Enforce-orcs 14 3-0-0 129 - 19
Gunner's Mudboggers 9 2-1-0 78 - 76
Andrew's Engravers 9 2-1-0 71 - 91
Daemian's Assassins 4 1-2-0 61 - 108
Paul's Losers 4 1-2-0 40 - 73
Brett's Blood Boilers 0 0-3-0 56 - 127
id's idiots 0 0-3-0 44 - 101

I have the most points against. That's kindof depressing...

Well ICE, that wont last, cuz now the softer side of the division gets to play the heavy side, so you should win your next 3, then face me. Wish I didn't face the Spikedrivers to open up the back to back games this weekend, but what do you do?
