Looking over the playback for my game, I noticed a few amusing things:

There were 9 goals scored during the first period, ending with the teams one point apart (in my favor).

There were 9 goals scored during the second period, ending with the score of 19-11 Riches.

In the first 2 minutes of the third period, I scored three one-point goals (22-11). After that, no scoring happened for over 7 1/2 minutes in the third period! With 14 seconds remaining, the Sharks put in a 3-pointer to end the game 22-14.

The other amusing thing I saw was this exchange:
5:16: Duzetdus shoots and Kazrimid makes the save!
5:12: Kazrimid passes to Gzosudgums.
5:10: Gzosudgums passes to Luftarghacrove.
5:09: Luftarghacrove passes to Gzosudgums who drops the ball!
5:06: Luftarghacrove passes to Gzosudgums who drops the ball!
5:03: Luftarghacrove passes to Gzosudgums.
5:00: They play catch....
4:52: Luftarghacrove passes to Gzosudgums who drops the ball!
4:47: Luftarghacrove passes to Druiyhan.
4:43: Druiyhan passes and Flydipix intercepts!

So poor Luftarghacrove tries his best to let Gzosudgums play a bit, but he keeps dropping the ball. Finally, Luft gets fed up and passes to Druiyhan, who promptly GIVES THE BALL AWAY to my Flydipix!

I'm okay if Luft feels bad - he's the one who knocked out Akoojook, 83 seconds into the game.

Good game!

And in yet another close encounter my goalies drop the ball :(
Richie's Riches 38 Ettiene's Sharks 35
Sharks did make a bit of a comeback in the last minutes with 15 unanswered points, but in the end it just wasnt meant to be. Did make the riches pay for their win though. They currently have 6 orcs in regen including the #1 point scorer, #3 and #8 bruisers and a 2nd string centre. Good luck for finals guys. Should be an interesting matchup.

Oh my god - you almost made the biggest orcing comeback I've seen! I was thinking early on that my guys ran away with it, but you made me seriously nervous as the seconds ticked down. Great game!

My team is pretty hurt and about to face Tune. This is going to be a rough ride!

Klarryszib (#1 in faceoffs, #1 point scorer) is back! :D He's a center 7 with a -2 age modifier mostly because he's only got 1 season at all other positions.

I think this helps my chances against Tune, but I'm still missing both of my first line defensemen (the #3 and #8 bruisers). Hopefully the promoted defensemen will give him trouble getting to my goal since three out of four are ranked interception catchers (#1, #4 and #8 ). :)

Richie's 7-season dynasty is on the line. GOOD LUCK!

Still missing a C1, a D1 and a D3 but I'm hoping the rest of the team can carry me tonight. It's game 2. Richie won game 1 by a score of 32 to 22 in a game that was much closer than the score would suggest. I had a lot of guys on the bench at the end of that one, and don't expect tonight to be any different. As the away team, I hope I can hold 'em off.

25 minutes to game time . . . Good luck!

Well, game 2 goes to the Thrashers

Richie's Riches 20 AT Tuneloon's Thrashers 26

Another stressed out game 3 to come. I'll be debating how much to drop tolerance for the next one.

Woohoo! Returning to the lineup for Finals Game 3:

Airlobak - 1st Line Defenseman
Biryhspa - 1st Line Center
Casshaap - bench center (Center 3/Get 3/Lose 9), helps with depth at this critical position

I have one orc showing fatigue, so that was pretty well managed. I'm thinking I'm ready! :D

Looks like my returning players made a difference in the game!

Airlobak only gave out 11 hits, but provided one of 7 shot blocks. Biryhspa won four faceoffs, and put in 4 goals on 5 shots.

Casshaap (my returning bench center) didn't even step onto the field, though.

Good game. Hope to see you again soon (though I've already selected a team for next Elites). The dynasty continues! :-D

Congrats on the title ICE.

I've already rolled a team for the next Elite season, so we may meet again in the Elite league starting after that one.

Richie's Riches takes great pride in announcing the retirements of the following veteran players:

Biryhspa - Center 9, once held the #1 title for faceoffs in an elite league; has given out 28 knockouts in his career (and has only been knocked out 4 times); 1,271 career minutes played (age modifier -6).

Loz - Center 9, consistently scores (was #9 point scorer at the end of this season, was #2 and #3 before that); 1,173 career minutes played (age modifier -5).

Gagidy - Wing 9, he's only been with the Riches a short time (one season), but he chose to retire in a Riches jersey; 30 career interceptions; 1,598 career minutes played (age modifier -5).

Also leaving the team is Goalie Bwakdusmdpq, who thinks he's got another good season left in him. (Goalie 8, eek 5, slam 9, toughness 4, wing 3, get 6, lose 5)

All remaining players have agreed to sign on for another season with the team!

Wow, just realised even though the sharks came in third this season, they have a total cash count of just over 120k without loan and only 7 orcs needed for next season. Now provided i might probably upgrade facilities to 3 all around this will take a dip, but so far the highest amount i have finished with in a season by about 40k. Woohoo!!! Dont suppose i can buy a vacation in mauritius or hawaii with orc money......
