Wow, my season started well and just went down hill as the games progressed. As the games went by my orcs got knocked out one after the other. At the moment i have 2 good defenders and 1 center plus 2 other in regen with quite a few days to go before they are back. Time to consolidate and try beef up my team before the playoffs. Destroyers will not go down without a fight

Well, this one's starting to shape up. I was really worried about my team for a while there. Feel like they are starting to come along now though. Winning some of these by a hair though. Competitive league!

My prediction for final seedings:

1) Jerry
2) Sherman
3) Sharp
4) Ettiene
5/6) Seth/bubbauk
7) bheki
8) Kyle

But I think it will continue to be very close.

Why do you think you'll slip so far, Seth? Based on the first round I'd have said you had the strongest team in the league.

I was thinking that myself :) Personally, if I make the playoffs, I will be surprised, given my team's performance so far. It appears to be hit or miss if these guys show up to play every game.

I've been deeply disappointed in my team the last week or so. Just lately they're turning it around a little, but I just have a bad feeling about them.

But I'd love to be pleasantly surprised...

Overlord's Team IQ Win-Loss-Tie Points For - Against
Jerry's Flawed Young Cannibals 42 9-2-0 172 - 102
Seth's Incredibly Bad At This 40 8-2-1 271 - 61
Sherman's Savage Shark Spleen Slayerz 38 8-3-0 136 - 114
Sharp's Goliaths 28 6-5-0 144 - 110
Ettiene's Four Horseman 23 5-6-0 143 - 101
Bubbauk's Orcaholics 14 3-8-0 107 - 210
bheki's your mama 11 2-8-1 81 - 178
Kyle's Pagans 9 2-9-0 155 - 333

I think if you stay within a game and a half of me through the end of the week you've got an excellent shot at top seed. I'm fattening up on the softer part of my schedule at the moment, but I can't imagine keeping that winning streak going through my last eight games against Ettiene, Sherman, Sharp, and you. The Cannibals are solid, but not that good.

My prediction for final standings:

Jerry
Sherman
Seth
Sharp

In that order. My team is not doing well this season. Have good players in first line but really bad ones in second and homelands are really running dry this season. Seems like we all got a share of the good orcs and now all that is left is a bunch of rejects. But i think overall the homelands was a bit short on pickings this season. Still hoping to make the playoffs though although i cant see how with still a few tough games to go against cannibals, sherman and seth.

While on the whole I have felt sort of up and down about my team in this division, I do love this part of the standings:

Top 10 Bruisers
Orc Name Knockouts Given Hits Given
Seth's Youtalsi 12 242
Seth's Yenflep 4 377
Ettiene's Khudsvartwok 4 245
Jerry's Arujaw 3 181
Seth's Wobuger 3 114
Seth's Azonfel 2 423
Seth's Gugozjer 2 182
Ettiene's Wegusvu 2 173
Ettiene's Czatpindow 2 162
Sherman's Vlijkmaksho 2 80

With 12 knockouts in 13 games, I'd say Youtalsi is one bad orc.

Well final standings for league:
IQ W-L-T PF-PA
Mel's A-pock-a-lip-toes 90 19-2-0 1035 - 113
Kyle's Green Things 76 16-5-0 761 - 140
Sherman's Tanks 73 15-5-1 797 - 137
Ettiene's Destroyers 47 10-11-0 591 - 550
seun's solos 47 10-11-0 497 - 228
gary's death head 35 7-13-1 508 - 182
Brian's Marauding Carnivores 23 5-16-0 342 - 514
michael's burnside 0 0-21-0 57 - 2724

My Destroyers snuck into fourth place with back to back wins against the death head. Mel almost had me worried there for a sec as his last two games was against solos who as you can see is the only team that could have put me out of the playoffs. He lost his first game which brought it down to the wire in final game to decide who goes through. Luckily he pulled of a win, and so did i which let my destroyers sneek into the playoffs. Now for the home stretch

It's been a good season. I hope my Tanks get to play against you again! (Like, say, in the finals?)

Things starting to come along nicely. First playoff game last night. Two away wins:
Mel's A-pock-a-lip-toes 3-16 Ettiene's Destroyers
Kyle's Green Things 13-16 Sherman's Tanks

Hopefully my guys can keep it up. We might meet in the finals after all Brett. Good luck in game 2. 8)

I was pretty surprised at the results from both games. Well played! What kind of steriods did you give your orcs to have them take down the top team in the league so efficiently? Mel was averaging almost 50 points per game until you showed up! He used to toss you around the playground like a rag doll! Seriously, did you order the Charles Atlas bodybuilding kit or something?

Game day 17:
Mel's A-pock-a-lip-toes 197 Ettiene's Destroyers 0

Game day 16:
Ettiene's Destroyers Forfeit Mel's A-pock-a-lip-toes 0

Game day 6:
Mel's A-pock-a-lip-toes 31 Ettiene's Destroyers 0

Can you say "false sense of security?"

First game we had i had just played a tough game against death head and didnt have a lot of cash to prepare team for match. Second i forfeit completely. Third i realized u dont get money if u dont play so i put one player in(Gave my goalie some experience). Didnt think this team would come so far though. Thought i would probably just miss out on playoff after games against death head(Fortunately my orcs wasnt of the same opinion beating death head 2-0). Oh and i paid Mel's goalies to miss a few saves
