How important is aging?

Postby tg1978 » Tue Nov 13, 2012 5:02 am

Hi all, can't find this in FAQ, if it is there sorry i missed it.

Have played a couple of seasons few years ago.
Came back a while ago and have no done 3 seasons with a team. I have done well and obviously roll over is really expensive.
Have 5 players who now have aging minus 1, how important is that?

Will cost me nearly 12,000 to take one centre and he has aged. Does it make enough of a difference to cash them in (2 other players are goalies and both are top 5 in experience and gold starred)?
Is the difference such that they can play again with only minor difference in their performance and are worth having?

Never played so far with a team and so any advice welcome

Speaking for myself, I will automatically sell an orc that reaches season 9. Aging isn't too hard to deal with. The older orcs do get tired faster, but a good rotation with younger orcs should keep this in check. On the other hand, I also automatically sell any orc that doesn't at least have a 3 (after Novice season). Too much youth isn't good, either. :)
