I'm in third now and got an easier part of the sched coming up.

got 1 more with Tune.

Then got Nate, Scott, Kyle and finish with Dushlan.

Hopefully before Dushlan I can already have the playoffs shured up.

Overlord's Team IQ Win-Loss-Tie Points For - Against
Piper's Orc Sea Morons 52 11-1-0 433 - 100
Tuneloon's Dream Chasers 47 10-2-0 349 - 121
Bubbauk's TruPower 33 7-5-0 297 - 185
Dushlan's Last Chancers 33 7-5-0 325 - 129
Nate's The Tab-Tabs 33 7-5-0 264 - 211
Kyle's Krunch 14 3-9-0 194 - 451
Scott's Big Noses 14 3-9-0 145 - 336
Wesley's Emerald Tide 0 0-12-0 78 - 552

I feel pretty confident that the playoffs will consist of Piper, Tune, Bubba and Dush. Nate has a shot, but his last 3 games have been against Wesley and Kyle, so his record may not be as strong as it appears. Bubba and Dushlan, on the other hand have had to play Piper and myself, so they are better than their record.

Although Nate did beat me in one game, I had pulled all my starters to give them rest, and he won by 2. The rematch was a 29 point victory for me with my starters in.

We'll find out for sure over the next week, as the Tab-Tabs face Bubba and then Dushlan after they finish their series with Wesley tomorrow.

well managed to get a win against Piper 23 - 16, before we move on to the other 4 teams in the draw. Think this seasons playoffs will be very very interesting. Good luck with the rest of the draw lads.

Well I will certainly agree that this league's impending playoffs have gotten more interesting. I hope you guys can see why this is not something I'm happy about  Oh well, I shouldn't have my expectations too high anyways. The Orc Sea Morons are a good team, but not unusually so. And the other top 3 teams have shown how strong they are. After the close game at the beginning of the season, I wasn't surprised by Dushlan's win. And as sad as I was about losing to Bubbauk, the Trupower seems to be a truly nasty bunch of orcs, Wakbendow in particular :)

Piper

p.s. I am not looking forward to rollover this season. There's no way I can afford to keep all of my star players, and deciding between them is not going to be fun...

I hear you on the rollover Gorblin. I have one Centre thats worth $16 k already, its only season 2 and its not over!!!!!!!! its basically where every available cent is going to and has been for about the last 8 games or so!!!!!

And yes, you seriously cannot write anyone off just yet in this league!

Hate to hear that guys.

Trupower has 27 orcs paid for next season.
Don't know if i'm going to keep more or not. Just trying to get some more money for next season to bid on a couple of good players to fill out this fine roster.

Yeah, I'm with Bubba :D

I've got 31 orcs rolled for next season, and have 33K in gold left

On the down side, I don't have any training facilities, but I don't really care about that at the moment.

Unlike Bubba, I don't hate it hear it from them

Well, last season I only spent 26K for a full 35 orc roster. I won all but 1 game last year, which brought me 87K in winnings, so I was able to pay my loan off quickly, pay rollover, and have a fair amount of cash remaining. My looting also went real well last season.

This season, I didn't take a loan. It left me with a fair amount of cash to bid with (30K). I spent half of that on bids, then decided to put the rest on rollover to start the season. I've since won 14 games, which has earned me 50K. I've put half of that into rollover, and the rest into team upkeep and armor. This seasons looting I've brought in 23K but my net is only 7.5K.

They've also brought in "stuff" over 50 times this season. I'm curious how that compares to others.

well i came into this season in a pretty strong position too. full training program lvl1, and about 10 k extra. I did take a loan however, went a shopping war, that ended with me buying 1 guy who to be fair has made an enourmous impact and will be around for a couple of seasons at the least. my other buy has failed to fire thus far, however moves are afoot to set him up to start string 1 nxt season.

$$$$ wise, I have a fair bit to pay off still on roll over but the loan is well gone and some additions have gone to training structure. so while i may be broke ( 24 gold as i write this ) i am not stressing just yet. Rollover WILL be achieved in about 5 or so more games and I should be set for season 3. SHOULD be the operative word. You just never can tell in this game!!!!

We have looted 34 STUFF and I have no idea on $$$$ . Is it ever enough????

Well, it was 1-2 with me and Piper. Piper winning but i've got all starters rested up since they didn't play against Dushlan at all.

I have not fed them in a week either.

They get mighty hungry.
