Thanks ICE. This team has been on a roll. They lost 1 game in season one (I believe) and have rolled off undefeated seasons in Div IV and III.

Should be a good matchup tonight, with

Wisecrack's n' Oneliners vs. Brett's Door Gunners

followed up the next game with

Wisecrack's n' Oneliners vs. Tuneloon's Crunchy Insides

as I figure these 3 teams are going to have the best shot at winning it all. Hopefully you can soften up the Oneliners for me before I get my shot at them.

I was very suprised at the results of our game ICE, especially after seeing how things started. After 1 period, you were up 14-4, and things were not looking good for the Cruchy Insides... but I absolutely owned the 2nd period, outscoring the Door Gunners 0-13, and dominated the third period 3-14 to win 17-31.

Figured it was gonna be a dogfight. Congrats on the win. We'll see how things go the rest of the way, but this could possibly be a finals rematch.

I wasn't basing that on your comments - I was basing that on team performance!

Looking forward to the next 2 games Tune, judging by the stats, there is not a lot between us.....though I suspect you should bag tonight's as fatigue is starting to leave its mark..... :(

Overlord's Team IQ Win-Loss-Tie Points For - Against
Wisecrack's n' Oneliners 57 12-1-0 412 - 160
Tuneloon's Crunchy Insides 52 11-2-0 394 - 164

They are not just Wisecracks, but they are wise!!!

Tuneloon's Crunchy Insides 33 Wisecrack's n' Oneliners 11

and it was definately depth that won the game, as you were leading 7-4 after period one. This last game of our series could determine the number one seed for the playoffs, so it should be interesting.

Good luck!

Well it should be more of a contest as the fatigue will be mostly gone..... still one or two feeling it but hoping it should come together, well that and the three lads that I sent to the regen tank!

Good luck

Only lost 1 of the 3 your knocked out

I did have to switch a few around to manage my fatigue, but I've been using a rotation of 3 players each at C & W between 1st and 3rd string to help manage fatigue, so I don't lose much.

Hope you've been using your $ for rollover, cuz your boys are flat broke!!!

Hasta manana

That was one roller coaster ride of a game.

The Oneliners jump out to a quick lead and hold on to it throughout the first period, but a late 3 by the Crunchy Insides keeps it close at 12-9.

They slowly build on their lead in the second, but a late 3 by the Crunchy Insides keeps it close to end the second at 19-14.

Then the Crunchy Insides go on a mad flurry to start the third period, firing in 14 points in the early portion of the fourth to jump on top 19-28. Things quiet down for the next few minutes before the Crunchy Insides toss in a single point goal to seemingly lock up the victory with a 29-19 lead with just over 3 minutes left.

But the Oneliners will not go quietly into the night, as with just under two minutes left they fire in a 3 pointer. And then another. And then another. 9 points in less than 1 1/2 minutes pulls them to within 1, but the Crunchy Insides win the ensuing faceoff and run out the clock to squeak out the victory.

Final Score

Tuneloon's Crunchy Insides 29 Wisecrack's n' Oneliners 28

Great game Dushlan.

yah tune, every available $$$ has been going into the rollover hence the broke outlook, however, the season is drawing to a close and I have an amazing amount to pay off still!!!!! but, chipping away and getting there.

the fatigue and the ageing especially is starting to be felt though!!!!!!!!!!
